ARTIST STATEMENT

2023

In 2021 I moved from Sydney to the mid North Coast of NSW. I wanted to live surrounded by bush and water again.  And although I have been painting my version of the natural world, I have also returned to painting word and statement pictures. My ongoing Word series was triggered by the time I spent writing a memoir, which engendered a delight in the look of words and phrases.
