Born Melbourne, Victoria

1945-49

Studied as an evening student at East Sydney Technical College and Julian Ashton Art School

1950-51

Full-time student at the Julian Ashton Art School

1951-55

"Student at the Nicolae Grigorescu Institute of Plastic Arts, Bucharest, Romania, with

the assistance of a Foreign Students’ Bursary granted by the Romania Government"

1961-85

Teaching for the New South Wales Department of Technical and Further Education, being appointed Senior Head Teacher at Hornsby College of TAFE during 1977-1985

1985 Resigned from TAFE to pursue development of own work on a full-time basis
